My faith

 

A remarkable note

In heart wrote

state what I got

with wonder to doubt

 

A faith

scream to depth

frightening temper wreath

gasping warm breath

 

A shadow to shade

A dream to wed

curiosity invade

the thought dead

 

A hand to mouth oath

taken out not to loathe

a sluggish sloth

painting the picturesque on cloth

 

A heart trained

the beat ruined

the understanding tuned

to feel the drench drained
